BricksValue (bricksvalue.com) is published by Reshot Technologies, SAS with a share capital of 10,000 €, 60, rue François 1er, 75008 Paris, France, SIREN 939 435 988 (“we”). We collect as little personal data as possible.
What we collect
- Your email address, if you join our email list. We use it only to send you BricksValue updates (such as the list of LEGO sets retiring soon). Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Anonymous usage statistics, through our self-hosted Plausible Analytics. Plausible uses no cookies and stores no personal data; we only see aggregate numbers (pages viewed, referrers, countries).
- Product analytics and session recordings, through PostHog (servers in the United States), which uses cookies and your browser’s storage to recognize returning visits. Recordings show how pages are used, with everything typed into forms hidden. If you join our email list, your email address is attached to that signup.
- Google Analytics, which uses cookies to measure visits and how the site is used (pages viewed, device, approximate location). Its data is kept for up to 26 months. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works the same without them.
- Technical logs (IP address, browser), kept briefly by our hosting providers for security and to keep the site running.
Links to retailers
Some links to retailers (such as Amazon, LEGO.com, Walmart or Target) are affiliate links. When you click one, the retailer may set its own cookies to attribute your purchase; their privacy policies then apply. We never receive your payment or order details.
Who processes the data
- Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany (servers, in Ashburn, Virginia, USA)
- Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (content delivery network)
- Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (Google Analytics)
We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
Your email stays on our list until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
Your rights
You can access, correct, delete or export your data, and object to its use, by writing to hello@bricksvalue.com. If you live in the EU, you can also complain to your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL). If you live in California, you have the same rights under the CCPA, and we do not sell or share personal information.
